This egg was so well-received that the Tsar commissioned Faberg\u00e9 to make a new egg every Easter. In 2014, the Rothschild Faberg\u00e9 Egg, which had been in the Rothschild family for over a century, sold at auction for a record-breaking $20 million. Other Imperial eggs have also sold for millions of dollars in recent years, making them some of the most expensive works of art ever sold.<\/p>\n
