Anthropic has announced a plan that could reshape how a major artificial intelligence company shares its future wealth. The maker of Claude says it will commit 5 percent of its shares to a new Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, pending approval from stockholders. The timing is hard to ignore: the company is preparing for a potentially enormous initial public offering, and the pledge arrives just weeks before investors may begin valuing its shares on public markets.<\/p>\n
